This Christmas we will load the hot dog in the car and drive south to my parents.

We are squeezing in lots in the short 3.5 day visit.

We (read: I) plan to sit for hours in the living room, sipping tea and eating delicious goodies made by Marme.
We will lounge around the kitchen table after dinner playing hearts and solitare and poker with Daddio.
And we (read: all women in our family) plan to fight over who gets to hold sweet Anna.

I think she is calling out to me. Ladies, let the battle begin!

Sweet Caroline opted to stay home and celebrate the Lord's birth alone. She tends to get emotional around the holidays and we could only respect her wishes.
