Maybe it was the court secretary clipping, yes clipping, her fingernails while the judge addressed the jury. Maybe it was the court sheriff asleep with his head fully tilted back with his mouth completely open. Maybe it was the other court sheriff's cell phone ringing something to the tune of, "spending all your money on me...". Or maybe it was the aggressive yawn that judge displayed, uncovered, for us all. Regardless, I am beginning to learn we are a bit more casual than I expected. I expected Jack McCoy and received a bad version of Elle Woods.
